个人简介:I was born in Seoul Korea 1964, and then moved to Taipei with my family in 1979. So I can speak Korean fluently.
My career started from a software engineer in 1990 using C language for SEGA home video game software design. My first resident job in China was in FuZhou started from 1994 for technical support and after service of computer products. At the beginning of my service in Uniwill 1998, I was a validation supervisor for notebook developments. Then I was assigned to lead customer service team afterward. It included repair services, technical support, spare parts management, etc.
Then, I changed my career to Foxconn since 2001, and had served more than 17 years. At first, I was a system validation manager leading a 100 engineers' team for about 8 years to qualify desktop and AIO computer products at developing phases. It included functionality/compatibility tests and system module qualifications, and had accomplished many project developments for different tier 1&2 customers. And, one other merit was to support SIT labs set up for Houston and CZ sites. For the reason of a good performance shown in my practice, I was assigned to serve as a DPM head concurrently since 2005.
After 8 years passed as a validation manager, many capable excellent supervisors and engineers had been trained well with full functionalities. Work went smoothly and became too easy with no challenges. I got an opportunity to break through this on March 2009 because of my fluent Korean ability and good working attitude. I decided to accept a challenge to become a BPM for Samsung desktop business after thought over, and served as a system R&D director and MPM head at the same time one year later to manage the products from begin to end . To speed up to be familiar with all related processes and documents at the first beginning, I stayed up all night late for weeks. Fortunately, I didn’t bring shame on the mission. Annual revenue and profit grew significantly every year. But unfortunately, the business was closed in August 2011 for customer’s concern of FXN Wuhan movement. I transferred to a server product factory to serve as Primary PM for a specific customer after then. During the period, I was asked to bring a team to dispatch to NC USA to support a new factory setup and new products bring up around 5 months, the mission had been accomplished with favorable comments from the customer.
In 2013, I was called to be PM manager of a server R&D team in FXN to develop a 5U high density rack mount server for H customer. I was dispatched to Houston branch for more than 3 months to work with the customer closely during the development. The product launched successfully afterward. One year later, FXN set up a joint venture business group with H customer. Our team became one of dedicated R&D team for JV product developments. We developed 1U1P/1U2P/2U2P/4U high density servers in Tianjin. During the period, I used to be the JV R&D director for one year
In May 2017, I moved to Chengdu to be in charge of Sustaining Engineering Division for the notebook production of A customer leading a 500 engineers team to manage all engineering affairs including factory infrastructure planning, line setup, stations layout, testing methodology, failue analysis, equipments maintenance, fixtures development/purchasing, PBOM release, and EC implement to make sure daily production capacity satisfaction.
I have years of working experience in computer science field and well familiar with product development and manufacturing processes. I am a mission oriented personality and have wide range of connections. I can speak English and Korean and I did all my best to accomplish the missions all the time no matter how difficult the missions were. I have high confidence and ability to build a strong team to complete all missions to be given. I hope that I have the opportunity to join your company, and I can give the best benefits for your group if I get this Job.
