Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced Game Producer to join the Diablo Immortal team. This is a rare opportunity which features unique challenges. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in external production, mobile game live operations and has extensive knowledge of AAA games. Responsibilities • Work with internal and external development teams and partners, oversee the day-to-day game development and operations. • Craft, maintain, and communicate release roadmaps and schedules. • Assist with the creation, estimation, and tracking of feature submissions and feedback lifecycles. • Assist with game live operations. • Facilitate and maintain a healthy and efficient communication channel between internal and external teams and partners. • Identify, communicate, and help resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks. • Contribute to a positive work environment by organizing teambuilding initiatives. Requirements • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production role. • Solid ability to build, track, and maintain complex schedules. • Exceptional knowledge and experiences in mobile game live operations. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills. • Fluent in both internal and external game development cycles from concept to post release. • Business level language fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English. • Experience with Jira project management tools. • Good at reporting and documentation. • Comfortable with frequent domestic travels and occasional international travels. Are you an artist that looks to give feedback and maintain the vision established within the world of Azeroth? We are looking for you! The ideal candidate can either be 3D character or 3D environment focused. Ideally, you will be able to float between either discipline. Your focus is to collaborate with a team of Artists to build a mix of 3D assets using both commercially available tools widely used in the art industry and proprietary tools unique to Blizzard for World of Warcraft. You are an exceptional modeler and texture painter rolled into one. As gate keeper of the iconic art style within World of Warcraft, you are responsible for helping the team to shape the final 3D models in-game while maintaining the art style consistency that the team has established over the years. DAY TO DAY TASKS • Contribute to outsource development by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. • Own the quality control over all incoming art assets, providing detailed feedback and approvals in order to deliver quality assets to the development team. • Create assets in any combination of the following 3D assets that fit within the World of Warcraft style: o Environmental assets including architecture, natural elements, trees, rocks, props, to name a few. o Creatures, weapons, mounts, among other assets. • Communicate with Art Directors, Art Leads, Production, Design, and other departments. YOUR BACKGROUND • 5+ years of experience in game development creating character/environment art • Experience in creating characters, props, weapons, architecture, or other assets. • Ability to explore a wide variety of ideas that push the World of Warcraft style • Great follow through and takes initiative to solve problems. • Software experience such as 3ds Max and Maya. • Experience working with outsourcing. • Business level fluency in both English and Chinese is a plus. We are looking for a seasoned VFX Artist who has proven records in creating explosions, spells, ambient world effects, and even larger world-destruction animations in the fantasy world of Azeroth. You will be championing the final touch on the fully textured 3D models and elevating the final product to the next level by creating a compelling visual presentation. An artist on this team should be fast and efficient, and possess strong, hand-painted texturing skills and fundamentals such as timing, motion, shape language, and 3D composition. You can help us build a fun, engaging world for players. The ideal candidate needs to be highly collaborative, self-motivated, with the insight to identify problems and the ability to tackle and solve them. Does that sound like you?
