Responsibilities
Suggest practices and techniques which can help improve quality or efficiency.
Keep Technical Artists’ motivation and morale on high level.
Communicate problems to Studio Art Director when can’t solve it.
Prepare training materials when needed.
Evaluate Technical Artists’ performance and provide them with feedback.
Identify important areas for research.
Supervise work of all Technical Artists in his team.
Assign Technical artists into projects. Receives requests from ADs and Producers for new tools or technical support.
Make sure no violation of company rules is happening (late arrivals, not filled Hansoft, long lunch breaks etc.).

面对棘手问题时,与工作室美术总监共同沟通解决。
有培训需求时,准备培训材料并提供培训。
评估技术美术师的工作表现,并向团队成员提供反馈。
识别重要的研究方向和领域。 监督团队中所有技术美术师的工作。
分配技术美术师进入合适的项目。
了解美术总监和制作人提出的新工具或技术支持的需求,并予以响应。
确保没有违反公司规则的情况发生(迟到、没有填满Hansoft、午餐时间过长等)。
Qualifications
Minimum of 7+ years as a professional technical artist and experienced in the development of tool kit in video games industry and have participated in several productions as a Technical Artist, Associate technical art director or technical art director.
At least 2 years' experience leading a team of 10 technical artists, experience as a lead of artists through a creation process.
Have developed a vision and a strong expertise in graphic production methods and pipeline for AAA and others project.
Familiar with the technologies used in modern games (PBR, data, streaming, etc.).
Master the graphics software of the industry (3DS Max, Substance, Photoshop, Blender, etc.).
Have a good knowledge of at least one programming language: scripting (Python, MaxScript, C#).
Experience working in shading/lighting/look development for on one or more shipped game titles.
Professional portfolio demonstrating technical art experience in rendering, shading, lighting, post processing and look development.
Communication and interpersonal skills allow to exchange effectively on both artistic and technical issues.
至少有7年以上专业技术美术师的工作经验,在视频游戏行业的工具包开发方面有丰富的经验,并作为技术美术师、技术美术副总监或技术美术总监参与过多个作品的制作。
至少有2年的领导10名技术美术师团队的经验,并作为领导者参与过全流程制作开发过程。
通过AAA项目和其他项目,在图形制作方法和管线方面积累了丰富的专业知识并富有远见。
熟悉现代游戏制作中使用的技术(PBR、数据、流媒体等)。
掌握行业内的图形软件(3DS Max、Substance、Photoshop、Blender等)。
熟练掌握至少一种编程语言:脚本(Python、MaxScript、C#)。
在一个或多个已发行的游戏项目中,有阴影/灯光/外观开发的工作经验。
有专业的作品集,可以展示渲染、阴影、灯光、后期处理和外观开发方面的技术美术经验。
良好的沟通和人际交往能力,能够有效地交流美术和技术问题。
